Informationen zum Studiengang (in englisch):
The market for solar technology is rapidly developing around the world. Solar thermal systems and photovoltaic belong to the internationally, fastest-growing fields and offer many new areas of application for engineers. The field of photovoltaic expects a market growth of about 50% up through 2010 and solar thermal applications approximately 20%.
The TU Berlin offers with the GPE-Solar, a two-year master program in English. The degree program offers comprehensive qualification in the solar technologies photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. The course of studies is oriented around the requirements in commercial practice and takes all steps of the value-creating process into account; from production technology for solar components over planning, installation and operation of solar facilities up to management, financing, law and marketing.
The degree program GPE-Solar, is directed at engineers with a BA, whose goals are leadership roles and international careers in production, management or engineering within the field of solar technology.
